Broken Windows in Cyberspace
Late last year, a friend approached me with the request to write for the Police Chief Magazine, which is the publication of the US-based International Association of the Chiefs of Police. I agreed instantly, as it is a magazine read widely among the law enforcement community. I and Pradnya, my wife, started working on the draft of the article, which sought to cover the work done for improving cyber security response system in India. However, the day to day work pressures kept us away from meeting the deadline. The folks at the publication were good enough the extend the deadline and finally we could submit the manuscript to them after a small delay.
The article got published in the March 2007 issue of the Police Chief Magazine, which focuses on cyber crime issues. Titled 'Broken Windows in Cyberspace', it can be read online here.
